Love the scope so far. I would venture to say it is slightly clearer than the vortex diamondback tactical 6-24. I love both scopes but I am shocked how much better this whiskey 4 is than I expected it to be.
I am also really impressed with this reticle for quick low power hunting shots at lower mag

I love this linear comp.
it is much larger than the other ones and works incredibly effectively.
will most likely also buy the 5/8x24 one also for my other rifles.

Sniper Muzzle Brakes/Recoil Compensators
I wanted to try a few brakes from Optics planet and I got this one among 3 others.
I like this one, larger, solid, and has not affected accuracy noticeably yet.
I feel that the size and weight helps to stay on target even more effectively.
Looks great on my rifle
this comes with a timing nut this means you will be able to align the brake holes horizontally and the comp holes vertical.
it reduces recoil as expected and fits great.
Installation was straightforward, and the machining quality is great — clean threads, sharp ports, and a durable finish.
Overall, I like it.

this did not end up fitting my buffer tube, i needed to increase the buffer tube by adding tape so the brace would be able to tighten on the buffer tube.

this does not come with a timing nut this means you will need to use the crush washer included and just hope once it is tightened the brake holes are horizontal and the comp holes are vertical. The other option is to go procure a timing nut, you can get them for 5 for 10$ ish.

Very impressed. I expected a mid to low tier offering (first sig scope) and I love this thing.
It is incredibly robust and feels tough.
The turrets are tactile, solid, and aligned.
I have used it to really dial in my hmr2 but am not scared to put it on my 7mm rem mag.
Great scope. Would buy again.

wheeler base needed modification to fit the necessary action screws on the newer savages

I called wheeler to provide longer screws but because these are made in china they had no screws or different hardware they could send me.

Put this on a BLR 7mm RM because I wanted something incredibly quick for stalking and brush, but with enough magnification to take advantage of how far the gun can reach out and touch. It does what I want it to for sure.
I like the scope. It isn’t light but that is to be expected from sig. the focus on toughness and performance over weight savings.
