I wanted to try a few brakes from Optics planet and I got this one among 3 others.
I like this one, trim, solid, and has not affected accuracy noticeably yet.
this does not come with a timing nut this means you will need to use the crush washer included and just hope once it is tightened the brake holes are horizontal and the comp holes are vertical. The other option is to go procure a timing nut, you can get them for 5 for 10$ ish.
it reduces recoil as expected and fits great.
Installation was straightforward, and the machining quality is great — clean threads, sharp ports, and a durable finish.
There is an increase in side blast, which is expected with most brakes, but it’s manageable if you’re aware of your surroundings at the range. Overall, I like it.
