5 out of 5! - Armasight Prometheus 336 3-12x50mm Thermal Imaging Monocular w/FLIR Tau 2

I got a chance to play with Prometheus for the last month since my buddy was kind enough to lend it to me while he took his family abroad for vacations. First thing that gripped my attention was the way the scope distincts temperature differences. Last Sunday I managed to identify a snake in grass 600 meters away from me. That impressed me greatly, because I wouldn’t notice it even 5 meters away with a naked eye. Another cool thing is that menu is really easy-to-understand; it took me just several minutes to figure out how everything works there. All in all, Prometheus is definitely worth buying. Tomorrow my friend comes back from his trip; I give the scope back to him and run back home right away to surf the Internet for the same unit for myself.
