Fantastic device for discovering targets - Armasight Prometheus 336 3-12x50mm Thermal Imaging Monocular w/FLIR Tau 2

Being a passionate hunter, I purchased the Prometheus 336 mostly for detecting the targets as for aiming them I prefer to use night vision scope. I took the cheapest one from the Prometheus line and I’m totally happy with it. The resolution of the monocular is 336x256 and this works great with 30Hz refresh rate. In addition to optical magnification it also has digital zoom 1x, 2x and 4x. So both optical and digital ones give up to 12x power. What I also like about this toy, that I can choose any of the wide variety of colored modes depending on weather and ambient conditions. I would say the whole menu is cool and easy to operate. Sometimes I also utilize my Prometheus for home defense as the area we currently live is not that safe as I want it to be for my family.
