Got it recently and quite pleased with my purchase. I bought the Armasight Prometheus 336 HD with 100mm objective lens and 30 Hz refresh rate.
The lens is just huge, and at first I felt quite uncomfortable with it, much bigger than I expected. I wish it was smaller, but in some time I got used to it. Actually it is impressively lightweight for the device with such a big objective lens. But it’s not the only thing that impressed me.
Lots of color palettes. I like to try something new in my search of the best variant, and it’s just awesome for me to have such a wide range to choose from.
Use it for detecting animals during my night-time hog hunting, and I was quite impressed with its temperature distinction, nothing can hide, when you scanning the area with it, saw even a few squirrels which I hadn’t notice using my night vision scope. Worked well even during the rain! Tried to use the Prometheus with HD DVR digital video recorder and it was just awesome. Got a chance to show the recording of the hunting to my son. Such an amazing thing, love it.
