Outstanding piece of equipment. Armasight went way out with this one, there are other makers but the intensifier tube quality on mine is outrageously clear (Quicksilver Gen2). Extremely versatile. Been holding off on "pulling the trigger" on night vision. Problem with most NVDs, the weapon you put them on becomes dedicated for that purpose only. PVS 14 is multi function....I can use this on any rifle I have or go straight handheld or helmet. With the addition of the Armasight AIM Pro L, you can have a NV capable Holo similar to an EOTECH. Amazing QS Night vision for the buck!

I have had this item for about a year and it has been amazing. I use it mostly to spot animals then use a green light or thermal to finish them off. I have also used it for driving at night (in stealth mode) so as to night have me headlight scare off any game animals. It is very clear and easy to mount/adjust.
If I had the $$$ I'd buy another for the dual setup.
On a side note... A shout out to the amazing customer service at Optics Planet. I have yet to come across any other website that takes such great care of their customers!

Armasight PVS-14 Great mid level product!

I order this for looking around fields at night for Coyotes and various critters. It was actually easier to operate and use than I thought it would be. It is a Gen 2+ so I'm sure there are more expensive units out there that are clearer in less light but this is a VERY good easy to operate unit for the money. I would recommend it without hesitation.

The clearest picture ever

I love this unit. It has the clearest picture ever. The image is so sharp that using AIM with it I can go hunting at night. All my friengs have nv scopes and binos but mine is the best. I'm really glad with the purchase!
