I like the fact that this goggle comes with the head gear, which saves me another $100 or so. Sure it is not Gen 2+ or Gen 3, but for $300 I am satisfied to have the ability to at least see something at night. It also comes with a nice little bag to store the head gear and goggle.
I am using it mostly for fun and in case of home defense at night. If you are an avid hunter and outdoor person you probably should go for Gen 2+ and up.
