Trash doesn't even work never ships doesn't notify anything better off buying an iPhone app don't waste your time for kids toy , $150 if what your paying for is the g@y mount for your head be better off buying the armasight core for 500 with no head mount

This will not work like Gen 2 or 3 etc. However, for the money this is an excellent Gen 1. It is well built and the headgear is not bad. The built in ir is super nice and is brighter than several hand held irs I own.For the money you cannot go wrong.
Pros:
- Great value, well built and built in ir is great
Cons:
- Just Gen 1, so really none
Best Used for:
- Varmit hunting, night walks etc

For an inexpensive NVG monocle this set is worth the money you pay. While this isn't close to military grade NVGs I've used in the military, for what one might use these for will be good enough if you're on a budget. Tried them outside in the country where I live, and they work well enough to light up the area. Have not tried them while firing a firearm to see if the muzzle flash will flare out the goggle. Street lights at a distance do not, a cigarette light doesn't, and vehicle lights at a distance do not either. Anything pointed straight at you or within 50' or so tend to distort and flare out. Using the IR illuminator works well in pitch black areas but distance is limited to a short hallway, or a large room/garage. Overall I am happy with the goggle. One point of contention, which was easy to fix, was the head mount where the goggle attaches to. After setting up the head piece, I attached the goggle to the mount to place it in front of my eye, the mount wouldn't line up with my eye. It was pointing upwards and not in line. There are a couple of set screws on top that if you loosen and then rotate the mount down to line up. Once this was done it was usable and worked well. I like the ability to switch between eyes.
Cons:
- distance (not a spot type light)
- flare ups

I would say it is worth what it costs. Maybe it will not satisfy professional hunters. I do not belong to them… at least yet. It is my first night vision device and I like it. Easy adjustable goggle kit, rugged body, in-build IR illuminator, lightweight, adjustable for both eyes, great price – it is all about Vega night vision goggles.

This night vision has a good image like a Gen.2 night vision.
It is a light, tough and beautiful device. Infrared illuminator is not strong but it's still bright.
This is very good cost performance model.
