Thats true, this device is quite an expensive thing, but Ive been trying the monocular and the riflescope of the same brand before, so I knew that they design really worthy stuff at Armasight. Most of the time I spend hunting, it is aside from being just a hobby and Im pretty picky about the optics I use, but this device proves itself hunting is much more efficient with it. This riflescope is really precise - it can display even the slightest temperature difference, thus ensures the clear-cut image. The image tends to be fine even despite rain, fog, smoke or dust.

Phenomenal
Upgraded from a Predator 2-16 (which was itself pretty impressive). Fantastic scope, detection of deer sized game past 1k yards, identification easy within 300. Takes some getting used to, but the slight heat deviations among the foliage are enough to give you a pretty clear picture of the forest even at range. At home, it is clear enough to literally count the hairs on my kids' heads. Super disappointed this will be last FLIR now that the government has forced them out of the civilian market.

Texas Hog Hunting
Scope is amazing! 640 is super clear, easy to set up and use. Have used it twice and had amazing success. Scope is well build and typical Armasight quality. This would is a great purchase if you are a night hunter.

Great scope for your day or night hunting needs, plenty of features.
I want to say a few words about my first thermal scope – Zeus 640. It's very well built. Mounts easily, doesn’t eat battery fast, keeps its zero, has 10 years warranty. I will definitely buy from Armasight again!

Dead Coyotes
Bought this based on a recommendation from a friend and couldn't be happier. Its big money, but buy once and cry once. many a yote met its demise to my rifle with this bad boy on there. One big thing though...READ THE MANUAL. holy cow thing thing does a lot for you. Its best to take a little time to read up on it so you don't end up reading it via headlamp light.

Wicked Fast - Highly Recommend !!!
I purchased this scope for my new 300 blk setup. I spent the extra $$ on the 640 core and the 60 hz refresh rate. It was well worth it. There is zero lag when I am tracking and the image is extremely crisp. Cant wait to get this out in the field and start killing hogs.
