The rod in the middle prevents the bolt from cycling. Perhaps this is designed with special BCGs in mind, but it does not mention so anywhere. I have standard ar 9 bolt and this buffer blocks it from cycling

Good product but...
I bought this to lesson my recoil . I does that only marginally. I like the idea and the build. Since i have only put less than 200 rounds through it on a new fresh built ar9, I'm going to give it and the gun a brake in period first. Out of the rounds i shot I had only one stove pipe and many failures to lock open on the last round.
