Mine has no defects and works as expected with Magpul and Fab Defense QD mounts
ODG color is very close match to other ODG parts from Magpul and AT3.
Fit and finish is great.
The threaded port for installing and removing the takedown spring and detent is great, though may need a little locktite to ensure does not come loose during extended use.
QD slot holds the weight of the rifle and then some using either a Magpul or Fab Defense QD mount post.
Very tight fitting into the receiver, but that receiver was Cerakoted so that probably made things a little more snug than regular anodized receiver, but I actually like a snug fit anyway, so would definitely buy and use again in Cerakoted reciever.
Good price though a little more cost than the Rainier Arms QD endplates (which are completely sold out until 2027). This makes a great second choice when the Rainier Arms QD endplates are unavailable.

Visual, Yes - Functional, No
It fits well, looks great, but it doesn't accept a Magpul MS4 sling. The QD will drop in flush but it doesn't stay locked in. Minimal effort to pull it out. My thoughts are maybe the color added just enough of a layer that the ball bearings on the sling can't sink in low enough to spread out UNDER the end plate & lock in place. The sling drops into a black Magpul end plate just fine. Brand issue? Color issue? Looking at them side by side, I'm leaning towards brand issue. Quite disappointed.

Is a great little back plate and it makes installing the takedown pins spring and detent much easier.
