This is a very practical product if ever there was one. The metal clip grips the baton securely and yes, you can now look around corners. Of course, this works even if you do not have a baton. This can be attached to a wooden dowel or anything else that you can come up with and it will still allow you to look around corners without exposing yourself to harm. This is a fantastic ability to have. I definitely recommend ordering the case and the mirror together. The case is very light-weight and securely holds the mirror in place without scratching the surface. The mirror itself is outstanding. It's concave so it takes a little getting used to. Highly recommend this product.
