Performance is far below expectations
It has been my experience so far that the ASP Pocket CR 230 Lumens LED Flashlight, Matte Black 35707 does not meet the published specifications. I ordered a product with a 230 lumen output. I can tell you that the result of my order has been considerably less than 230 lumens. As I've been using flashlights for 30 years, including a few years of military and of law enforcement use, I'd say that I'm fairly well versed in flashlights. As a matter of fact, this flashlight was purchased with the intention to use it during shallow undercover operations, patrolling an area on foot in regular clothes. But I'm still carrying my SureFire E2D Defender. In short, I think you will be dissatisfied if you purchase this product.

This would be a great flashlight if it existed
I ordered this product on 12/19/11. I was told soon after the flashlight was not in stock and would be listed as "Expecting For Stock" on my order status. Granted, I was instructed on how to cancel my order if I didn't want to wait. The bright light and small size are perfect for me and my job so I decided to wait for it. A month later and still nothing.
Now I understand that OpticsPlanet cannot always control the stock. The problem might be with ASP. But it's been a month that this flashlight has been out of stock and OpticsPlanet still has this available for purchase.
