DO NOT BUY / POOR DESIGN

by Mike Kirmer, Verified Owner from AR, United States Written on April 11, 2025
I repeat do not buy this item! The holes where the screws are in which the spring actuated flip up sits is CUT WRONG your front or rear sight will sit at and ANGLE providing INACCURATE sight picture. Irons are supposed to sit 90°, my front sight post came at an angle. Metal is cheap and easily bent and broken. USER ERROR RULED OUT
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • poor machining
  • Poor accuracy
Best Used for:
  • nothing

These flip up sights are in great condition great material easily installed with tool supplied. However I received two rear sights instead of one rear one front. So I'm half satisfied in this order shipping was not quick but they arrived in my mailbox.
Pros:
  • High quality
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • 1913 pic rails

Not low profile enough for use with a scope

by N S, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 19, 2025
If you are running an LPVO or similar scope, and still want to have back up irons, this set ain't it.

The front sight has lateral play, even when installed properly. This significantly affects shooting, especially when recoil causes impromptu windage adjustments. However, like its counterpart, the front sight is sturdy and doesn't feel cheaply made, materials-wise anyway.

The rear sight has no play that I can feel, however in order to store the sight in the down position, one of the peepholes sticks up, to the point of interfering with the eyepiece of any scope/LPVO, even when the sight is mounted as far back as it can go, AND with the scope mounted as far forward as possible while still being usable.

AT3 spring assist flip up sights

by Flip up iron sights, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on November 16, 2024
They are pretty decent sights for the price point, they are all aluminum and i would like to think it should make them durable. But you get what you pay for. These are not expensive sights...For back up sights or someone who plinks on the weekend there great. They have adjustable windage and elevation, which is great.
Pros:
  • aluminum
Cons:
  • So so quality
Best Used for:
  • Recreation
