Ares btr tracks - Athlon Optics 4.5-27 x 50 mm Rifle Scope 30 mm First Focal Plane (FFP)

Today I sighted in the Ares BTR 4.5-27x50 and did a tall target test. The clarity is just below my Vortex HD 5-20 and better then my Vortex HST 6-24. The Ares passed the tall target test with flying colors. I was actually relieved. The one issue I did have was the parallax would unfocus after almost every shot. Tomorrow I will put the Ares to the real test in my long range match. Todays weather conditions were less than ideal at 21 degrees and light snow. The rifle was a 6.5 Grendel mounted to a ADM AD-Recon 30 MOA mount. The tall target test was to 30 MOA and back using Applied Ballistics procedure and formulas. The turrets are not as positive as I would like but are usable. Hope this helps.
