Most Affordable FFP Scope

I bought this as my first FFP scope and I have to say that it has performed very well. Optics are clear. I just started shooting 600yd F Class and put this on my 6.5 Creedmoor. It replaced my Nightforce Precision Benchrest. I am completely sold on FFP scopes and will only be purchasing them in the future. I know this scope has a lifetime warranty but have not needed to use it. Sure there are better optics out there but none at this price point that I have found.

Ares BTR 4.5-27x50 Side Focus Riflescope

Great looking and functional scope. Glad the person that sold me his RPR rifle told me about them, was going to go with a Night Force scope. But this does all I need for right now at a lower price. I still want a Night Force one day.

Nice Scope

Paired with Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Sight in at 100 Yards, then take it out to 1034 yards. Very accurate reading with Mil reticle.
Highly recommend scope to new shooter who want to get into long range shooting.

Athlon ares btr, best customer service from optics planet!

I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on the Ares BTR. Crisp , clear glass, and the FFP reticle is awesome. Optics planet customer service answered any questions that I had as well as they got me my new optic very fast and for the best price anywhere . Thank you again OpticsPlanet.com!

Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27x50

I received this scope in a sturdy box in excellent condition. I put it on a Tikka 204, it has excellent glass, all the features on the scope worked as advertised. It is well made
durable, the glass is clear out to the 27 power.

So far great scope, zeroed at 100 yards with a few shots , love the reticule, love the clarity. Have not shot distance yet , but plan to take it to the 600 yard range next and see what it can do. Cant get any more specific yet because I have only shot at the 100 yard range and have only shot with it 1 time. Should have more details after a trip to the 600 yard range

First I want to thank Jeff at Athlon for all his help,hes the gentleman in a lot of the you tube videos we must of talked quiet awhile about scopes, thanks. Next this is my first (ffp scope) its so nice so far at short ranges I cant wait to get to a long range.It may be a little while because the nearest one is a 2 hr drive.When I can I will up date this review .I would recomened everyone to watch all the videos they will tell you more then I can, so far I love the scope and when I can Ill buy another. THANK YOU Steve
