Hush puppy's Review of Athlon Optics Argos BTR Gen II 6-24X50mm APLR2 Rifle Scope
This is my opinion vs my previous scope the vortex Diamondback tac. The Athlon scope is very robust. Very good Turrets very positive feel. The illumination is a nice addition. The extra Zoom gets pretty blurry beyond 20 power. The zero stop is easy to use and has a very positive stop. The scope came with caps instead of the bikini covers like the vortex. The only thing I wish it came with is a sunshade.
Only real downfall for me is the reticle is very large at full zoom. The Diamondback has a very thin reticle that I had gotten used to.

- nice turrets
- illuminated
- zero stop easy to use
- comes with flip caps
Cons:
- No sunshade
- reticle is very large at full zoom
