Feature full, but falls flat on basic function - Athlon Optics Argos BTR Gen II 6-24X50mm APMR Rifle Scope

This scope seemingly cannot be beat. FFP, zero stops, parallax, MRAD, Christmas tree illuminated reticle out of a 50mm lens all for 400 dollars. Glass is acceptable, turrets click positively, eye relief is manageable, illumination functions well and the overall fit and finish of the scope is great. However, the adjustments on the scope I received were completely broken. Reticle would not move past 5 clicks on elevation, and windage caused the scope to go down and to the left for about 10 clicks, then left for the remainder of the adjustment. Althon doesn't cover shipping to them for warranty work, and as this was received defective i'm sending it back to OpticsPlanet for a full refund. If you buy one of these mount it in a gun vise first and check the turret tracking before taking it to the range and spending an hour of your time, ammo, and frustration trying to figure out why you cannot get on paper at 50 yards.
