Nrl22 prs rimfire scope - Athlon Optics Helos BTR Gen II 4-20x50 30mm Tube Rifle Scope, FFP

I replaced an Athlon HERAS SPR 4-20×50 AAGR2 SFP MIL with this scope on my NRL22 and PRS Rimfire rifle. My primary reason to get this scope was to be able to dial out to 400 yards (19+MIL). The HELOS has 32MIL of elevation adjustment. The HERAS only has 21MIL of total elevation. I mounted the HELOS on a 40 MOA rail and now have 24MIL of available elevation. More than enough to get out to 400 yards. Another advantage, is that the HELOS is a First Focal Plane scope. It is nice to be able to do range estimation at all magnification levels. And finally, it has an illuminated reticle which I have used in a few low light situations and a parallax adjustment down to 10 yards for short range shooting applications

This is an excellent scope at this price point. The HELOS BTR GEN 2 4-20 x 50 rifle scope falls right in the "sweet spot" for most shooting applications and calibers.
