To give you reference I am comparing these to a pair of Zeiss conquest and leopold bx5. Great image quality, best edge to edge clarity of the binos i have compared them too. Tracking smoothness is great with very little blacking of the view. Low light performance is right up there with the leupold as well. My new go to binos as i feel tge eye cups are a little more comfortable than the leupolds and the zeiss are a buddies but i would still choose these for overall comfort and performance even if they were the same price.
Cons:
- takes i minute to get used to the diopter and only 2 eye cup positions

The first bino I received was severely out of collimation right out of the box which was very disappointing, the packaging didn’t look damaged but if they were dropped during shipping that could have caused it. There was really no way to know but thankfully it was an easy process to return them and get a replacement. Since I live in Washington State, on the other side of the country, it took a couple of weeks to get the replacement. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely!!! These are great and not just for the money. The color, clarity and sharpness make these a pleasure to use without eye fatigue. The long range at which you can see with detail is impressive. I can say that these are more effective at identifying objects/animals only at 10 power than a similar priced spotting scope at 20-30 power. As a result, I have to have the Cronus g2 spotting scope. So far all the great reviews about these are spot on and aren’t just a bunch of hype. Finding products that punch way above their price are rare. If you need a nice bino there’s no harm in trying them, If you don’t like them they’re easy to return but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how good they are!

Well worth the money! I’ve just got a pair of Vortex Razor HD on sale $949. and this Athlon Cronus is as clear as the Vortex Razor Hd and around Maybe 2oz heavier. I didn’t know just how good the Athlon Cronus binoculars were until I compared them to more expensive binoculars.
save yourself some money put it towards a good scope instead . I just wanted a pair of vortex UHD but the weight was heavy so went with Razor HD but trust me the Athlon Cronus is a great pair of hunting binoculars.

Very clear glass with wide adjustability for focus. Very nice low light viewing giving the ability to see into brush and dark places. In Grey lighting, I can see better using the cronus than my naked eye. Also, even while looking towards a rising and setting sun I am still able to pick out objects under trees and brush. A purchase that you would not regret and that i would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Pros:
- clear glass
- Waterproof
- budget friendly
- Lifetime - No BS Warranty
- Robust and built to last
Best Used for:
- stalking (animals)
- Backcountry Hunting

For what you get especially if you grab these on sale with promo code + OP free shipping you would be hard-pressed to find another binocular brand at this price.
Now that said from my research on the Internet which is forms and reviews /videos made my decision to try Athlon. Now after comparing these Athlon Cronus 10x42 they have beat out my older Nikon monarchs 8x42 (not ED glass) in glass clarity and the edge to edge sharpness /clarity . My review is only a few day of just messing around the farm and hunting land not used during hunts yet. Time will tell! I’ve had my Nikons for years I’m sure the quality has improved on the newer Nikon models. My Nikon’s will still be in my hunting backpack because of larger field of view less weight and size being 8x42 and just a better softer feel. I feel that in cold weather The Athlon will definitely have a cold feel due to the build material and definitely heavier weight but will not be hanging on my neck purchase decision was for use in box stand and wildlife viewing from home only. Maybe later Athlon Cronus will offer a 8x42 and a lightweight model .

Saw a few reviews on YouTube about these binoculars and decided to buy them. They are great for their price range. Very clear glass and the size is just right for me. Not too big, not too small. They come with pouch to carry them also. I like them

The glass quality is equal bino at twice the price. They are more on the heavy side which is often the case high quality/high price 10x42s ive tried. Compared to my Vortex Diamondback HD, the brightest and the edge to edge clarity is far superior!

The glass is good, better than an entry level, but not by much to my eyes. This is a flag ship line. Yet my bx2 Alpine HD Leopold binoculars at half the cost seemed to be just as good. If I'm paying $500.00 dollars for binocular especially someone's flagship model. I expect more. A real issue is that they also don't offer a 10x50 model, which is what I wanted.
Pros:
- Good, but could be better
Cons:
- For the money better low light performance and a 10x50 offering
