The Athlon Midas is a good scope with very clear glass. I was able to get one on sale so it was a good buy for the money. I am using it on a Daniel Defense DD5V 308. It’s crystal clear the entire range from 2.5 to 15X zoom. The turrets are firm and overall the scope is built well. The reticle looks good and is easy to use. The downsides I noticed is the illumination of the reticle is not really bright enough to be seen during the day. I could barely tell it was on, even at the highest setting. My second complaint is that this scope doesn’t come with end covers. For as much as it cost I would think it would come with end covers and even a sun shade. My Vortex Viper came with these items and it was around the same price. Over it is a good scope and for the price I got it for I would buy it again.
