I traditionally run Leupold optics and have grown accustomed to their clarity and quality. I saw a good price on this particular optic when I was in the market for a LPVO. I went with the Mil/Mil illuminated reticle. I purchased at a slightly lower price than the regular $529 but would still be pleased at that pricepoint. Tracking and clicks are crisp and precise. The illumination feature has an off feature between each setting so you can turn off just below your future desired power. The 1x is as close to a true 1x that I've seen. The only downside that I've noticed is an ever so slight fish-eye effect at 1x, but it's hardly noticeable and not enough to knock off a star.

This is a feature rich scope and a good buy. Friend of mine who run NF have also commented on the quality of the glass. I'd recommend it.
