Most Helpful Positive Review Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality scope at a low price
Find me a better scope for around $100 and I'll buy it and sell this one. I am shocked at the quality of this little scope. I put it on a .22 rifle. The glass is extremely clear. I love the turrets and the side focus. The main reason I bought it was to have the side focus. I am thrilled at how nice the fit and finish this scope has to offer. Very well made!

ATHELON NEOS

by Glider, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on November 2, 2025
Since I have over 20 rifles I regularly compete and hunt with ,it's impactable to have an expensive scope on each rifle so I need something that meets my performance and price criteria. This scope will be placed on a backup Remington mod 700 which is a serviceable and capable gun just like this scope. I trust both this scope and this rifle. I find the Athelon Neos nicely meets my needs. I need good clear quality glass for my aging eyes with a side focal and a scope in this case, that can take the recoil of a 30 06. Since most of my big game hunting is in the northern US, long open shots of 300 + years are unheard of so the need for those upper levels of magnification are not needed nor wanted. It's generally a quick freehand snapshop at a running buck or blackie in heavy swamps or conifers. I have several of these Neos scopes and they work great on my expensive European competition rimfire rifles or on my bigger caliber centerfires .
Pros:
  • Price, quality

Great scope!

What a great value. Bought this to go on my new Bergara BMR Carbon .22. After mounting it I went to the range to sight it in. 3 shots and I had it right on. Accurate when fully zoomed in or out. Held well thru the 500 rounds. I am very happy with this one!

Really good optic

by Scott Scenters, Verified Owner from ND, United States Written on February 4, 2025
I bought this for a Ruger heavy barrel 10/22. I have used several different scopes on this gun, including a vortex Rimfire. I've started shooting at an indoor range at 50 feet and needed something with a parallax adjustment. I decided to give Athlon a try. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. This scope performs way better than I imagined. The glass is clear, very little distortion on the edges at full magnification, consider me impressed. To get this quality I would have to spend 3 times the money on another brand. For what it's worth I will buy another in the future.
Pros:
  • positive adjustments
  • clear in low light conditions
Cons:
  • Not reall a con, cross hairs are just a little thick,

Nice scope-shipping is slow

by Stretch, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on November 20, 2024
Nice scope, very clear optics. Illumination is very easily adjusted to conditions. Weather where I’m at prevents me from doing a “full test” but I will follow up with the field work soon. Shipping was very slow, took 7 days to get from Tennessee to Ohio via FedEx. It was transferred to USPS and took 3 more days to get delivered. Product was well packaged, no damage to package or contents. I would buy again.
Pros:
  • Affordable, Simple design, ease of use
Cons:
  • NONE found
Best Used for:
  • Low light, mid range 100-500 yds

Good Value

by KyHunter, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on May 4, 2024
This scope checked all the boxes for me. It has clear glass, illuminated reticle, 12x magnification, lightweight, side focus and holdover points for air rifle. Bonus points for price point. The cons - I would rather have mil-dot reticle and the IR button was too stiff for my liking.

good scope

by no, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on May 1, 2024
I have this scope on a Talo 10-22,with Tally one piece rings. It only took 3 shots to sight it in. It is very clear at 12x. The focus knob is a bit stiff, but works well, and is the main reason I bought this scope. I shoot at 50 to 100 yards and need the focus feature. The only downside,is the weight,as it is heavy. I can overlook the weight, for the other features. Overall, a good scope, for the price.
Pros:
  • sharp optics
Cons:
  • weight
