Athlon Neos 6-18 x scope

Good clarity across entire sight picture.
Positive clicks for turrets with accurate tracking.
Nice workmanship with attention to detail very good for any scope especially considering the low price of this model.
Occasionally parallax drifts but returns with adjustment. I have two of these optics and very pleased with the clarity and sizing of the duplex reticle.

Not a high end scope, so do not have expectations for high end, HOWEVER, its clear, rugged, and functions well for a sub $200 scope. I put it on my 280AI, and it handles the recoil well enough for me to repeat sub MOA accuracy. It punches above its price tag.

great scope

the parallax adjustment has my old Mossberg 4x4 270 tearing one ragged hole at 25 yards with 3 shot groups.

Pros:

Replacement Scope

I use my Savage B Mag 17WSM for varmaint hunting and sometimes have to make long range shots. I dropped it and messed up the scope. I replaced the scope with a Athlon Neos 6-18x44. I had seen several reviews where the Athlon Neos would give me more bang for my buck than the Crossfire Vortex (which is what I had). I agree 100% with those reviews. It has more features and is clearer. It has easier adjustments. I didn’t even bore sight it and was able to zero it in with a minimal number of rounds. I am very glad I made this purchase.
