Decent for the price.

Using this sight on my 6.8 brush rifle I use for deer/hog hunting. So far I’m fairly pleased with its performance, very clear glass for what you pay for it, and so far the zero hasn’t shifted after roughly 100 rounds. I like the reticle, but I don’t love it, the main reason being that there’s a dead zone from the dot to the circle that keeps you from making accurate points of aim between 250-550 yards with 6.8 spc. That being said, each turn on the elevation dial is 20moa making for quick adjustment for long range shots on varmint. The circle around the dot helps with quick close range target acquisition when you jump one up and for such a small optic it soaks up a good bit of light for those early morning shots. All in all I’d definitely get another one for a mid range rifle.
Pros:
  • Durability
  • small package
  • decent reticle
  • Relatively clear glass
  • decent low light visibility
Cons:
  • A little heavier than expected
  • Retical needs a little work but still good
Best Used for:
  • low light hunting
  • close to medium range ( 400 yds)

Ok for close range

The hard etch is a plus, but the fact that the Bullet Drop Compensator (BDC) is at equal length increments from start to finish is unhelpful. I like the unlimited lifetime warranty, but the BDC is not user-friendly.
Pros:
  • lifetime warranty
  • Hard-etched
Cons:
  • BDC is at equal length increments
Best Used for:
  • Close range where BDC is not relied upon
