When competing in 22lr ARA Benchrest matches consistent bullet velocity is essential. Have used the Athlon chronograph to test different lots of ammo and have been extremely pleased with its performance. Has done a great job identifying inconsistencies in bullet velocity and identification of consistent lots of ammo. So far so good and at this time I highly recommend.
