Most Helpful Positive Review Mroc For The Win
Purchased the Atibal MROC when it came out, I was intrigued by the concept of the "acog" like setup and it's boast of glass clarity and field of view. I was not disappointed. On top of that, the dials require no tools and caps will never be lost. Easy operation. I am a big fan of the off switch aft...

Most Helpful Negative Review Looks to be Good Quality, but Returned It for a Few Reasons
Let me preface this with the fact I never mounted or shot mine before I returned it, so mechanics and durability are not reviewed. If those two aspects check out it probably would be a good LOW-Budget alternative to a ACOG. As this market is expanding now that the patent is gone, I expect to see mor...

Perfect addition to the AR15

by S. Olson, from GA, United States Written on April 24, 2020
I have been looking at this optic for some time and finally pulled the trigger. Definitely worth it. This thing is a beast!! Great eye relief, lenses are clear with no distortion and the reticles are easy to see.

Great glass and eye relief

by JM, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 15, 2020
I like the optic and I think it is worth its price point... maybe more. It appears to be well built. The glass is great and so is the field of view. Yes the reticle does look small but like others said it is likely due to large field of view. The eye relief is excellent too. The fine reticle should allow for precise shooting. I would have given this optic five stars if the reticle was at least partially illuminated by fiber optics like the Trijicon ACOG. Also I was disappointed that it did require a fair amount of metal filing to get it to fit in an American Defense ACOG mount.
Pros:
  • clear glass
  • Build quality
  • eye relief
  • reticle
Cons:
  • no fiber optic illumination
  • needed fitting to use ACOG mount
Best Used for:
  • Tacticle

Not impressed

by Kenneth Steen, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on February 4, 2020
The illumination settings are far to low. I could barely see it on level 6 in the daylight. Without the illumination I couldn't see the reticle at all in daylight, thus making the etched reticle useless w/o illum. When I initially zeroed the optic I only had to adjust elevation by a couple of inches. Sixty rounds later, or less, I had a massive POI shift to the left of almost 9 inches. I received in back to center and continued firing without issue, so I can't say for certain if it is a long term issue. It certainly doesn't inspire one with confidence. It's allot bulker than I expected. For whatever reason I imagined it smaller. I own and have been impressed with the primary arms 3x32 and they are almost exactly the same size. When I removed the mounts and rails from both, because I don't use the rails, the PA 3x32 is actually a few ounces lighter than the MROC. This I believe contradicts the advertised weights of both products. I own and have used significantly several PA products all with zero issues so far. I've had to send in more Trijicon products for repair and have yet to repair any of my PA products. I wanted badly to like this optic but It did not meet a single expectation I had for weight, size and simple effective reticle or reliability.
Pros:
  • Reticle Design
  • 4x32 ACOG mount compatible
Cons:
  • heavier than expected
  • Illumination insufficient
  • Bulkier than expected
  • Significant zero shift
  • Etched reticle not visble in daylight
Best Used for:
  • paper weight
Would recommend: No

Not a Trijicon BUT...

by Ecke, from WI, United States Written on December 29, 2019
Currently servicing as an active duty Marine, MOS 2111 (small arms tech) So I obviously have no idea what I’m talking about BUT it feels d@mn solid and was fun to shoot with. It’s a brick, definitely on the heavy side (you’ll notice it) Personally, I’d rather have the weight, over cheap plastic and eerie rattles. The reticle seems tiny, and slightly off center. Not really knocks but it kind of sums up the whole optic. It’s not prefect, and you’ll notice that it’s not but for the price I don’t think you can beat it. If you’re very nitpicky, spend more money. If you just want something that you can rely on and “does it’s job,” I think your money would be well spent here.
Pros:
  • MOUNT INCLUDED
  • clear glass
  • Sturdy
  • lifetime warranty
Cons:
  • Heavy
  • Small reticle
  • Knit-Picks here and there
  • No QD option
Best Used for:
  • People hard on their gear
  • Just needs something that holds a zero
  • Shoots over Looks

Great optic for great price.

by PmcGns, from MO, United States Written on January 29, 2019
I was surprised at the quality of this optic sight system. Serving in the US Army I used an acog, and this is actually very similar to the acog optic. I really like this sight, and will most definitely be keeping it on my rifle for a long time to come. I would definitely recommend this optic as an affordable optic solution.
Pros:
  • Affordable, easy to use
Cons:
  • none so far

Another great Atibal optic

by Sean Buyce, from TX, United States Written on January 21, 2019
This is a great optic. The glass is crystal clear and the etched reticle is crisp and easy to use. This thing is built like a tank too. Works great for maneuvering through Texas mesquite. Plus it’s backed by a lifetime warranty with the company which is an added plus should I damage it.

AMAZING PRODUCT!

by Ryan, from CA, United States Written on February 8, 2018
GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT! DURABLE MATERIAL, CLEAR RETICLE PICTURE. IN MY OPINION THE BEST 3X OPTIC ON THE MARKET. NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT PRICE TAG ON IT. VERY AFFORDABLE. IF YOU COMPARE IT TO OTHER OPTICS IN CATEGORY THIS DEFINITELY HOLDS UP. GREAT FOR SHORT AND MEDIUM RANGE SHOOTING.

MROC bulletproof

by G-Note, from TX, United States Written on February 7, 2018
I bought this for hog hunting knowing it would take a beating. I have dropped this this in the mud, it’s been around constant moisture and no fogging. The overall build quality is second to none and clearity is great for an Optic at this price point. Very happy with this purchase, looking forward to more great products from Atibal!
Pros:
  • Durability and dependability
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Close quick acquisition

Awsome Optic for the price

by Wfiedor, from PA, United States Written on March 20, 2017
I bought the MROC just after it came out, and wanted to give it a chance before writing a review. When I got it, the quality seemed very good. The tube looks and feels very sturdy. The most impressive part is the clarity of the glass. I used the ACOG when I was deployed in Iraq in '08 and '09, and can easily compare the two with each other. The reticles are virtually the same, so it was a very easy transition from my service weapon to my personal one. I thought I would have been disappointed that it didn't have a fiber optic illumination like the ACOG, but after I put it on my AR I didn't really miss it much. As I normally put 100mph tape on it to dim it anyways. When I shoot in dim light, I am able to turn on the chevron, and it gets pretty bright. I am impressed by it. The furthest I've had it shooting so far is 300 yards and the BDC is right on with the ammo I shoot. 55gr M193. In conclusion, it is well worth the purchase. I wish I would have waited though. The one in FDE looks awesome.
