Most Helpful Positive Review Atibal 1-12 FFP plumb precision reticle
Not much to say other than this is a fantastic scope. Easily worth more than it's current price point. And if it means anything, I took this scope out to 500 meters in under 10 shots my first day on the range with no prior long range shooting experience. If you are on the fence about this scope. Take a leap of faith, you will not be disappointed! Will be purchasing more products from this company without a doubt.

Swung Hard, But Missed Hard

by JTard, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on August 15, 2024
I was skeptical of all the features being offered in this scope, in less than a $1000 package, in the year 2024 and not being heavily flawed. Unfortunately, my expectations were met. Not succeeded. The diopter ring and parallax turret were too easy to spin and gritty feeling, like there was dirt caking the sealing gaskets, already. Also noticeable CA on 10-12 power, but it was whitish blue CA, with very thin, sharp edges/borders, so it didn't bug my eyes much. Edge distortion highly visible, but within acceptable boundaries for scopes up to the $1200 weight class. Those issues, alone, weren't deal breakers; but the illumination? Garbage. Visible starburst, flashlight and bleed, on the lowest power, in medium light conditions, in thick woods, during a late afternoon, in August? Unacceptable. Bump up scope seal tolerances, purge with Argon, bump glass clarity up maybe half a step and massively improve the illumination for low light, but keep it viable for blazing bright days. Bump up the minimum price another $400, if that's what it takes, to make a good profit, after the upgrades. This scope will fly off the shelves, once these aforementioned improvements are made.
Pros:
  • Parallax, weight, magnification range, affordability
Cons:
  • Scope turret seals, glass quality, illumination, build quality
Best Used for:
  • In a desert, during the middle of summer.

Wide range of power

by Spooky-1, from IL, United States Written on February 25, 2023
I have this optic on top of a bolt action 300 blk pistol. I wanted a wide range of power for hunting with my kids and quiet backyard plinking. I got this and more with the hybrid. I did opt for the FFP, a bit more expensive but worth every nickel! My kids have become used to using the reticle through the full range of power depending on quarry distance. Really brings in the target at full power. Reticle is clear and hash marks help with round placement. Lighted reticle helps at low light. I like the small obj/ocular diameter compared to the body so you can mount it low to the rail. About the only negative thing I can say is be sure you have enough rail space on your gun, all this power comes with a price! It is long and the tube is 35mm so rings are limited in options. One additional wish is Atibal should send a laminated printed reticle so you can show where the holds are to uninitiated shooters!
Pros:
  • Price
  • power
Cons:
  • size
  • ring options
Best Used for:
  • Hunting 10yd - 300yds

12X MPVO Greatness

by Warsteed, from TX, United States Written on February 24, 2023
Bought this due to really liking the 8X other brands I own. This optic is awesome. The glass is great. Gonna purchase another soon. Came packaged very well, instructions included. The reticle is easy to read. Makes shots with the wind easy. The size and weight are a good mix.

Everything you need in and more

by Johnny Boy, from UT, United States Written on February 22, 2023
Finally! an LPVO that has a parallax adjustment and mid-range capabilities. Love that the parallax can go all the way down to 12 yards which makes a big difference for close range shots and ou tto infinity for those longer shots. The eye relief is phenomenal and is better than I would have expected. Glass is clean and the reticle is functional. Click adjustments are decent but had better. Overall, this scope is everything I've been looking for an Ar10 platform with its LPVO size/look but mid-range capabilities. Definitely worth checking out.
Pros:
  • Clarity
  • eye relief
  • parallax adjustment
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • AR15
  • AR10

Versatile but needing a FFP version

by Russ, from CA, United States Written on February 21, 2023
Had this for about a year even though it was an SFP as I was hoping to they would come out with a FFP sooner. Other than being a SFP (not a negative if you like SFP) the positives- very functional reticle being able to use the semi SPR Diamond reticle to quickly bracket your target and transition from target to target with ease. Also has more than enough wind holds for windy conditions. The illumination on this model is not daylight bright but was told that the SFP models are for low light. No issues with clarity and side parallax is a great feature for up close targets under 25 yards and further distances past 300 yards. I’ve consistently been able to hit targets at 600 yards with this optic with .223/5.56. Eye relief is phenomenal especially at 1x. At 12x the eye box was a little tight which was to be expected as the optic is as it’s an LPVO size with mid range capabilities. Turrets are very positive with audible click adjustments and tracked accurately. Don’t see the benefit of 35mm tube vs 34mm at least with a 34mm there are much more affordable options for mounts. Definitely some give and take with this optic but on the right AR setup it’s very versatile with some minor drawbacks. Now I need Optics Planet to get the FFP model.
Pros:
  • Versatile, functional reticle, clarity, eye relief
Cons:
  • Illumination, tight eye box at 12x
Best Used for:
  • AR platforms, DMR rifles, hunting

Refreshingly unique, made consistent hits past 800 yards

by GTM, from MN, United States Written on February 20, 2023
Found plenty of affordable 35mm ring options online, even some with built in 30moa. Paired that with my 20" AR and went to work. This is the most versatile optic I personally own. I shot past 1,000 yards, and as close as 12 yards all while having a clear image. I think the optic excels because of the good glass and functional reticle, but even when pushing the optic beyond the hold overs I found the dialing to be true. I absolutely love being able to dial my parallax for a true image and for data to match up without parallax shift that I would normally run into with a fixed parallax optic. The mag lever has a really neat "fin" type design and is impossible to miss when going quickly between low power and 12x. Dot size is very appropriate for a SFP too. Whether I was shooting fast at 25 yards or prone at 900 yards, I shot some nice groups with this optic. Atibal appears to be pushing the market in the RIGHT direction and doing things others never even thought of. Keep it up Atibal.
Pros:
  • Size
  • features
  • Versatility
  • glass
  • Waranty
Cons:
  • Desire for additional color options perhaps
