Most Helpful Positive Review Wild hogs hate this scope
The scope is easy to hook up and well made. When I mounted a Laser genetics ND3X50 laser designator on top of it I could clearly see and identify wild hogs up to 400 yards of in total darkness. Pros: What the scope will do for the price. Cons: none
Most Helpful Negative Review Don't waste your time
I've been hunting for many years, own more than a few rifles, have sighted in a lot of rifles and this was by far the most aggravating scope I've ever seen. I know what I'm doing. It was mounted on a DPMS .223 AR type rifle. First shot on paper at 25 yards was high to the right. I got it centered, ...

Great 1st Gen Scope.

by Robert, from PA, United States Written on March 11, 2020
Never had a problem with this scope. Have taken numerous predators at night and have never had to rezero this scope but one time over many many years. Scope was easy to install, easy to zero in and held it's zero for over two years before I had to readjust it about 1moa. I did take the batteries out when not using it for insurance against acidation.

ATN Night Vision

by Burns, from CA, United States Written on June 8, 2017
Bought this scope awhile back. Was pleasantly surprised how good it worked. I do recommend using the IR scope on it. This made a big difference! Overall I was pleased with the price and performance.

great bang for the buck

by Lew, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 26, 2016
While I will admit not having a lot of experience with night vision, I am very impressed with what I can see with this scope. Not sure what the expectation should be on weight and size and this unit does have a little weight to it, but the price can not be beat. I look forward to taking it out on a little night varmint hunting.

On the right track

by MBM, from AZ, United States Written on October 10, 2014
Functional and surprisingly impressed. For the money it provides a decent means to engage targets at nominal ranges in various levels of darkness. Only concern is that the illuminator supplied does not give illumination past 100-110 yards. Am trying a LR illuminator for distance shooting.

Aries MK 410 - Awesome

by JBird, from TX, United States Written on September 6, 2014
This is by far the best value for the money! All of my Buddy's are Jealous and now want to either borrow mine, or purchase their own! The optics are as advertised, and then some! It is going to make my collection of Optics even jealous... Once I hit the ON BUTTON, I felt as is I was in the United Stated Marine Corps again, driving my Hummer down the dirt roads of Guam, using only MY First Gen, Single Optic NVGs, except with RED Cross Hairs......
Pros:
  • Bright, clear picture
  • crystal clear
Cons:
  • None.
Best Used for:
  • Varmint Hunting
  • Checking on our Cattle

night vision rifle scope

by soomdawg53, from CA, United States Written on August 7, 2014
Only had a chance to go to the range to get it sighted in at 100 yards. Can't wait to do some some long distance stuff real soon.
scope is a little heavy but it's just the ticket for night time shooting

ATN MK 410 Spartan - Great image, range and functionality.

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on November 26, 2013
I got this scope due to a friends recommendation, he has the Paladin. I very much like the 410 Spartan. The image is very, very good considering this is a Gen 1 scope. The controls are easy to manipulate, and adjustments are also easy.

I do think that a previous reviewer may be on to something about the magnification, I think that 5x is a bit optimistic, but it is difficult for me to say for certain. That said, I was able to easily pick up movement at distance, even small objects, and the image quality is vastly superior to other Gen1 NV Ive seen. I have not had a chance to fully distance this but have been able to make out human sized items at 150+ yards. At this distance, it was difficult to tell varying critters - squirrel, skunk, fox, cat or coyote. You can tell there are critters, but youre pushing here. Still, within this distance, the imaging is very, very good for the price point. Its very good period.

The unit is big and heavy, no argument. But it does work and work very well. it will take up quite a bit of rail space and it is large. If you mean to case this scope mounted to your rifle, keep this in mind.

I would buy this scope again without hesitation.
Pros: image quality, reticle, ergonomics
Cons: size and weight

impressed

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on July 22, 2013
I took the unit to the beach "Jersey shore" I was amased. With any light, star light you can see several hundred yards out. The IR illuminator worked well and can be adjusted. The next step is taking it to the range.I also found it very useful kayak fishing on a moonless night.
