Atn thor 4, 384x288 sensor, 1.25-5x thermal smart hd rifle scope w/wifi, gps problems - ATN ThOR 4 1.25-5x19mm Thermal Smart HD Rifle Scope 30mm Tube

Day 1 Locked up, finally rebooted by holding the power and function button for 20 seconds.
Downloaded latest firmware, read instructions to update firmware. Formatted and Loaded Micro SD card with firmware.
Attempted to load the card, there is gap below the card slot that's just big enough to swallow the sd card, so now its inside the scope. Had to remove the port cover to recover the card. being more careful I inserted the card and rebooted the scope. After the 4th reboot it finally decided to do the update! It did not self power down as the instructions said it should. Manually power cycled and reset to factory settings. Completed the configuration of everything and connected the Obsidian4 app to the wifi on my phone, connected to the scope.
Mounted the scope on the rifle with ATN QD scope mount, one of the screws stripped with hardly any force at all, reverted back to the mounting rings that cam with it.
Attempted to install the ABL Ballistic Laser Rangefinder, tightening the adapter ring to the front objective the whole front of the scope tightened down and then the Focus ring wouldn't turn at all, finally got it loosed off a little.
Tightening the ABL mount onto the mounting sunshade and one of the mounting tabs breaks off, I'll be sending this back now.
Day 2 Noticed the reticle was not showing the same place when I viewed the stream and look thru the scope.
Scopes internal temperature, barometer and Altitude never corrected to my location. Building profiles went smoothly but I was unable to ever get zeroed, I got 6 inches close and the after a minor adjustment to the zero and now I'm 30 inches high and 15 inches right. Started over many many times, never could zero.
Day 3 Reset to factory settings again. Started over with profiles and attempted zero again, hundreds of rounds later still no luck. Now scope has locked up, wont respond to anything, impossible to power it down.
Decided to call it a day, Packaged it up and I'm sending it back.
I had read less that stellar reviews of ATN equipment, and against my better judgement I decided to try it anyway. Bad decision on my part. I have learned a valuable lesson.
