The thermal scope was good but the rings that came with it are garbage. The included screws don't fit and one of the screws didn't even have threads. ATN should stop including the garbage and lower the price.

I’ve used red lights in years before and have done decent but I took this on the first hunt of the year and worked a coyote in very close at the 34 min mark in years before the lights would’ve scared that Leary coyote off. Scope is good up to 200 yards after that can’t really tell what’s what.

Great scope for anything under 300 yrds. I had no issues getting it sighted in or holding zero. Battery life is very good I have went out for several 3 to 4 hour hunts leaving the scope on the entire hunt and it only goes down to maybe 3/4 charge.

A complete package . Scope, cover, charging cable and scope mounts. It is ready to mount on your rifle out of the box.

Ordered the scope that came with the ABL 1000. I mounted everything and the scope would not connect to the ABL 1000. I tried to do a firmware update thinking that might fix it but then I found out the scope won't even read the SD card. And for some reason, my scope says it has newer firmware than the website has available. How is that possible? Believe all the bad reviews, listen to those that have had issues, and don't buy this scope.

Unfortunately, the scope I received (Thor 4 1.25-5x, 19mm) froze-up on me quite a bit (even after updating its firmware), so I contacted ATN and they offered to exchange it and also allowed me to upgrade to their lighter scope with higher resolution (ThOR LTV 640 2-6x, 25mm) - after paying the difference in its price, of course.

I purchased a Thor 4 1.5x5 a few years ago and has worked flawlessly. Recently had a small hiccup and the customer service rep helped me solve it immediately. I had also purchased the ABL 1000 and had some technical questions and again the service was impeccable. My service rep was "My" or Milen and she was a pleasure to deal with. I have used my Thor 4 to kill many predators seamlessly out to 150 yards (my area is thick). The abl is amazing as well because its very hard to judge distance through thermal at night and I am using subsonic ammo which drops hard. With all the info inputted into my Thor 4 and the abl, within a sec of pressing the button my reticle adjust to the proper place for my bullet taking all guess work out. 100% recommend and if my Thor 4 ever goes out im def buying another.

I purchased this scope as a night optic, opting for thermal over traditional night vision, and I've really enjoyed working with it. In addition to using it as a weapon-mounted optic for airsoft, it's been a great teaching aid for school field trips out to the park where I work, allowing kids and adults to see the world using a different sense, as many animals do. Explaining how some animals, such as pit vipers and some pythons, hunt using heat instead of vision, and showing them the comparison between a traditional photograph of a squirrel and a thermal photo really gets kids excited.

The photo and video functions are wonderful to have, both for hiking and airsoft, and the long eye relief is especially helpful when lying prone or sitting up in a tree. The ability to stream video to my phone or tablet to show larger audiences or teammates is a huge boon.

I'm taking off one star because the microphone has never worked quite properly, and the zoom knob doesn't seem to work correctly on my device, but these don't really affect my day-to-day use.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this scope, and would heavily consider ATN's offerings when purchasing in the future.

First time using a shade spot appeared and could get it to go away. Reset pixel a few times and would not fix. Will be sending in for a replacement. Other than that for the price it’s not bad. For serious hunts go for the more expensive setup.

I like this scope since it looks like a normal scope and won't draw too much attention to it. Unit also can record video and stream it via wifi to a smartphone or tablet. This is a great feature. My kids can see what the scope sees. There isn't a laser range finder but you can use the intelligent rangefinder to count the distance by measuring objects. If you are planning on using this for fast moving targets (coyote) and need to know the exact distance in real time you might want the ABL. I like this scope and look forward to playing with it more.
