This is just a fancy day scope - ATN X-Sight 4K Pro Edition 3-14x50mm Smart HD 30mm Tube Day/Night Rifle Scope

Let me start off by saying I was happy to find a highly reviewed day/night scope in my price range from ATN. I ordered this scope and it arrived earlier this week. Tonight (Friday 9/27/2019) I took it outside after checking the firmware and I was crushed. This thing couldn't spot anything outside of a streetlight lighting without the included IR lamp and even with the lamp objects within 20 feet were grainy and obscure. There is no way you'd be able to hunt pigs or coyotes at night with this thing unless you walk right up on them. Before you count this review as someone who knows nothing about night vision, I am a 20 year USAF veteran and am a qualified NVG instructor. I am returning this scope and I do not recommend it.
