Let me start out saying:
I do recommend this scope. It has been a big help for me controlling coyotes on my ranch.
I received my new ATN 4K Pro final May 2018 after long wait. I had also ordered the ABL 1000 at the same time, but it was put on back order.
No big deal mounting this scope to my Marlin XL7 30-06, has been very straight forward.
I had been using a Pentax scope. So I had to change my scope rail out for a bigger one. I used a WARNE Zero MOA rail M676M to hold the new ATN 4K scope. I will say that doing the firmware updates to this scope can be a little hard with removing and installing the microSD card. After doing the firmware updates, zeroing in the scope is great and very simple. I also like the feature to Wi-Fi to my Apple phone or table to see real time.
Back to the ABL that I ordered, I final received it Dec 27 2018. Sad to say I had to return it to OPTICS Planet wouldn't power-up. I received my second ABL 1000, May 2019 and it also would not power on. Called OPTICS Planet and set up the return to OPTICS Planet. I received my 3rd ABL 1000 Aug 2019. I had to return it to OPTICS Planet...wouldn't power-up. At this point I almost at the point of giving up, after talking with OPTICS Planet great support team, I opted again for a replacement to be sent. OPTICS Planet promised me to make sure it worked before shipping it. I’m happy to say that I have received my 4th ABL 1000 and its working. It’s now Nov 3rd. and I have everything mounted and put together. I have the ABL paired with my scope and I’m ready to do so test shots. I’m taking my first shot at 50 yards, and the recoil snaps off the focus lens at the front of the ATN 4K scope were the ABL is mounted. I couldn’t believe I finally have everything and all of it is working… and now this!!!
I called ATN support, 1st. time, Faris Oran answered my call, He was Very very helpful, and set me up with a return authorization and said they would repair or replace my scope.
