What I wanted and more
As someone with no thermal, I just wanted something entry-level and affordable that would be a starting point for me to satisfy the basic itch, learn how it all works, and actually just use it for the first time. This was pretty much the lowest price I could find, and I like the idea of USB-C recharging since I use that for everything else. This comes with an eyecup that I immediately swapped in. I expect to use this for going on night walks, so far have just used it around my home but it's been a blast for that.
