Works but it needs retooling - ATN DNVM-2 Digital Night Vision Monocular, 2x

Does it see at night and in color during the day? Yes but not very well, The field of view is rather narrow, so it makes it a bit hard to see anything that is near you anything 50 yards or so out is ok not that it wont focus on anything near you its just that you don't see to much if its too close to you. The view finder is not that great but it works but instead of looking like something akin to looking through a gen 1~3 and what I mean buy that is that is the screen looks too far away from your eye so it hinders your view. I also had problems with the batter cap placement, it's placement is to close to the IR illuminator and the lens making it a bit hard to open the hatch. The lens cap does not like to stay put. Over all is it worth what you will pay for it sure it does what its supposed to you do get what you pay for but if your looking for something like a gen 1~3 and you think hey this is cheap and ATN made it and think it will compete with ATN's gen 1 products just save and buy there gen one produces but if you don't mind the diminished functionality of this product and just want something that will see at night then buy all means buy this product because after all it does see at night and you can still use it during the day.

Optics planet was great though shipped it fast got a good price, no complaints for them.
