...must have...IF
...I must say you need a high capacity battery for an all night vigil. I'm 67 years old and found it to be uncomfrontable and difficult if you had to recalibrate your compass. I'm exploring a more user friendly strap detach. Also....if you find you need the head band...?....go for it. If not.... there are other high capacity batpacks.... solar chargers and cables for $less$ ! Semper Fi! Godspeed!!
ATN Extended Life Battery Pack with MicroUSB Cable
This is the perfect combination for extra battery life with my ATN Binox. Was having issues with battery life and contacted Mr. Faris Oran with ATN customer service and he was able to get this unit in the mail to me promptly. Thank you Mr. Faris and ATN!

Wrong battery included to fit this strap
The stitching at the USB end of the pouch won't let the battery go all the way in and it is a stretch to zip it closed. When it is zipped closed the zipper separates behind the zipper pull. If the USB cord could come off of the center of the battery like the battery in the first photo with the neck strap it would work. The battery that came with my order has the USB coming off-center similar to the second photo of the battery and is binding on the stitching.
Also, the instruction pamphlet that came with the battery is in Chinese so I couldn't figure out how to shut it off. I guess it will be dead by the time OP gets it back.
Also, the neck strap being 3" wide and not being able to bend/flex because of the battery at the back of my neck is very uncomfortable.
I am returning this and will probably try placing a 20,000 mAh battery that I have in a belt pouch and use a coiled USB cord.

ATN USB EXTENDED BATTERY
Ended up receiving this battery pack instead of the buttstock battery for my ATN Day/Nightime 5X20 Scope. Optics’s Planet was gracious to ship out the correct battery pack and it arrived early enough to fully charge and take down some hogs. Thanks for your great, understanding customer service staff. This is the reason I purchase most of my equipment from Optics Planet!!

Definitely a Must if you own the Binox
I wasn't a fan of the battery life in the Binox. Bought this to give it a whirl as there wasn't that many reviews.. so I had no idea. Well... it is different. It took a few times to get used to the strap and the cord and wearing it but that was about it. Now it is perfectly adjusted and comfortable. Extends the use of the Binox a lot over regular batteries. I'd have to recommend this to anyone wanting to extend the use of their Binox.

Binox HD 4X16 Accessories
I can tell you that the CR123A batteries can be EXPENSIVE and don't last very long! But since i purchased and use this battery pack,I can operate my Binox for hours. i've never used more then 50% of the batteries capacity, even while recording video! Battery pack is a MUST HAVE accessory! Don't leave home without it!
