First of all, this scope is relatively cheap and compact. I dont like sophisticated devices and three basic things which were driving me when choosing ATN OTS17 thermal scope were price, user friendliness and reliability. Also, IMHO, black and white version looks more classical and the image is more readable. I dont have anything against OTS17 Color; its just the matter of taste. I would recommend this device with 2x lens as an optional accessory; build-in magnification is not enough for long ranges. I will have one and it goes without saying.
