I was skeptical about the mono cause of the cost but it worked perfectly. It was getting dusk and my eyes aren't like they used to be. I scanned the tree line with this ATN and low and behold there were 2 deer perfectly glowing in white . I would never have made them out with the naked eye.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband and he was disappointed with the quality, but he also has a ATN ThOR 4 Thermal Smart HD Rifle Scope, 4.5-18x50mm and maybe a little spoiled! He says that he may be used to his other thermal scope? I've returned this purchase and will upgrade to a different thermal viewer from OpticsPlanet!

So I got this honestly out of necessity with things are the way they are you never know. And you can prepare all kinds of ways for the daylight. But the night time is a whole new Beast to prepare for. Like the cold. So I have been playing around with this for a few days now and I have to say it is awesome. Turn out the lights and pure Darkness and you can see. Any heat signature anything that's semi-worm 4 different visual modes and all kinds of other features. Now does it have the best clarity no is it the best of the best no. But for the price that I received this it is an absolute banger.. not something you can go wrong with. To all my Fellow FREEDOM LOVE CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC LIVING AMERICANS. This something I recommend. If you have a whole lot more money to spend and spare and you can get whatever but if you're needing something and you've got a few hundred to actually dedicate THEM GET IT.
Pros:
- Price
- Range finder Built In
- great accuracy
- 4 visual modes
- Lights up pure Darkness
- Dead pixel cleaner
Cons:
- FOV is not the best
- Resolution isn't the best
- Does take time to load up from off
- Zoom isn't great
Best Used for:
- hunting
- scouting
- Peace time
- War time
- Many many more

My buddy has an agm and compared to it it's horrible. He can use his in the woods and will light up a bird 100 yards away with this one you can't make out anything. Not Optics plant fault. They are awesome to work with.

Once I looked at my use case scenario and what else was on the market it came down to 3 options. The ATN won out because, at its price point it has a far superior sensor and processing firmware giving it a much higher definition image. I am able to see with definition out to 150yds. I can then swap to my NV for better PID. I enjoy the ATN unit mostly for its features, being a rugged monocular, high storage capacity, built in range finder, less color palettes (good thing), and a long battery life I can use it to sweep my field of view day or night and bring back helpful information as well. Truly a great addition to my kit and everyday use. the 37mm threaded filter ring on the front of the lens is also fantastic and I would highly suggest adding a UV haze filter to cut down on heat in the air (better for long range).
Pros:
- battery life
- rugged
- adaptability
- range finder
- Definition
- Feeatures
- Recording Thermal
Best Used for:
- Target acquisition
- Range finders
- Thermal imagers
- Recording

This thermal optic is a good value for the money. The optic easily lit up an armadillo foraging in thick grass at 50 yards and deer at least twice that far out in open pasture. All were otherwise invisible in the darkness.

This is a great entry level thermal monocular with a good quality picture. For the money this is absolutely a ''must have'' device! The battery life is excellent. All day usage in the forest and still half battery available, unbeatable! Unit also can record the video and take the photo! Overall this is pocket and lightweight thermal with the perfect price tag!

I use it to identify the hogs at night. After that my rifle comes into play:) The menu is simple. Everything is really intuitive. The set up was without any problem. The battery life is good. Unit has a powerful internal battery. Producer declares 10 hours and it's and it's true. I can use it all night and the battery will be still alive. Highly recommend it as a good monocular with a fair price.

Works great much like the thermal scope it’s actually larger than it appears in the ad. The only downside that I have with it is that it can’t be mounted to a helmet or headband. The thermal image is crisp even in daylight. I haven’t had the opportunity to see at what yardage you can still recognize a target but it seems fairly distant

Very effective for night hunting. Hogs light up in the wood as bright spots at over 300 yards. I have time to get ready. Battery life is amazing. I keep it on for nearly 10 hours and that isn’t the limit. This gadget has pocket dimensions and is lightweight. It works well for my hunts, and became more important than my binoculars.
