The PVS-14 monocular scope works, is rugged, never-fails, and the helmet mount makes for a FAST change from a hand-held night vision monocular piece, or from your weapon side-mount, then to quickly and easily (in the dark!) snap it on your helmet mount. Others claim to have the quality and abilities, but they're a failure, often coming with the NVG not working full and properly, but not with ATN.
