Pricey but Solid and Worthy set of NODs
Served as a infantryman in an Army Special Operations Unit for about 6-7 years, numerous deployments to Afghanistan region conducting night raids all under night vision. I was fortunate enough to use Gen 3+, dual tube,
AN/PVS-15 Goggles and had part of a deployment under white phos tubes. I’m curr...

Great NVG goggles, but horrible mounting bracket
The goggles are great and have a clear image at night. But the mounting system is cheap plastic and absolutely horrible. Fits loose. Its so bad I can't even wear these. The NVG's move way too much on your face just walking around to the point I'm constantly moving them back to my eyesight. The reas...

WORTH THE MONEY
So going into this, I wasn't quite sure what gen they are, apparently they are gen WPT which is roughly equivalent to gen 3+. I don't think that is true, but they are definite at least GEN 3 in quality. these things are AMAZING, its a decent chunk of change to be sure, but they are worth it if you want a set of BINO's, which all my service buddies recommended for due to the increased depth perception. The only thing I have disliked so far about them is the poor mounting hardware, its wobbly, and doesn't feel secure. Not what I imagined I would get with a 4k dollar piece of equipment, I'm afraid to mount it on my ballistic helmet because of this. Other than that, Great buy! get 'em if you can afford it!
4/5 would be 5/5 if the provided better mounting hardware.

Great set of NVGs!
Received mine yesterday and immediately couldn't wait to try them out. Got busy during the evening...until the power went out. Well, what better way to put them to work in a pitch black house. With the IR illuminator switched on, the darkness turned into daytime. Walked around the entire house, including basement, checking to ensure all doors and windows were locked. I hadn't set up the head gear yet so I was holding them like a set of binos. Very pleased I went with the dual tubes as well as the white phospor setup. Worth every penny. Now just need an IR laser for the AR and a good bump helmet and I'm good to go.
Pros:
- Ease of use
Cons:
- None

NOT compatible with Wilcox mounts
Wilcox does not offer a shoe to adapt ATN PS15 units to their L4 G24 mount. This leaves only less desirable mount options. Otherwise, the unit is impressive! Very capable. Would definitely recommend. Much more capable than expected, no prior experience with NODs. But my eyes have just been opened!

Great Product!
These NVG’s are amazing! I got them very fast. I love the IR switch. There wasn’t very much noise (grain) in the picture which is absolutely amazing for NVG’s. Normally there is quite a bit of noise. I had no problem seeing well over 200ft.

Good for viewing
I ordered these with the intention of mounting to a helmet. The optics themselves were very nice. I tried them in my neighborhood but was not able to get out to the woods. The image is crisp and clear and there is good amount of adjustment. The headmount that it comes with is pretty useless, at least to me. I was not able to find a helmet mount that would work so I had to return them. I would have been happy to keep them if I was able to attach to my helmet.
Pros:
- Good image
Cons:
- Unable to adapt to helmet
