The duel tube night vision works as advertised, very well. However, the optics planet add and the product instructions both indicate the unit uses CR123 battery. It does not. The unit takes 1 - AA and the auxiliary battery pack takes 4 - AA batteries. I found no where in the instructions how to turn the unit on. Press and hold the button/selector switch on the front of the unit for 2 seconds to turn it on and press and hold to turn it off. Rotate switch for brightness. Find additional instructions on ATN web site to turn on light source, etc. “Poor instructions “.
