Great NVGs
I was on the fence with a single pvs14 or duel NVGs and decided to run with the duels. The atriculation was the deciding factor. There are no noticable artifacts in this gen3 white phosphor. The IR is a single IR and is very bright, perfect for total darkness. The 50 degree field is a plus.
Best bang for your buck
Why spend 10G on a set when you can spend 6500 and get the same thing? This unit is absolutely incredible. They do not provide spec sheets on the tube but unless you're doing extensive research and study the ins and out, its hard to understand what the specs even mean. I contacted ATN multiple times about these and they were always very helpful. These run gen3 white phos tubes from Elbit which is what your paying for. the 50 deg field of view is a plus over the standard 40. This does not come with the battery pack but does come with a Wilcox style G24 mount. I do have some wobble in the locked positions which is this units only downfall.
Pros:
- Price & Performance
- Ease Of Use
Cons:
- provided mount

Absolutely amazing!
Well worth the cost! Like many others have said, it does not come with the external battery pack that goes on the back of the helmet, but everything else comes with. No need to go out and buy a Wilcox mount since the one it comes with works fine.
I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for an excellent package, right out of the box!

Great product and ATN service
I'm far from a professional, not having much experience with NVG use, but am familiar with optics and photo-multiplier tubes in general. Am impressed with these especially for the comfort and price point.
Mounts easy to a Wilcox shroud and helmet mount is very adjustable, to fit snugly and not shift when wearing a helmet. Overall unit feels very sturdy and stays where you set it for eye relief, etc.
Tubes are clear, and the white phosphor is much nicer for contrast (my prior experience only with Gen 1 green...) Limited artifacts, nothing that disturbs view of scenery/objects. Extreme low-light resolution is a little "grainy" as expected but clears up nicely with the IR - you can see fine in a pitch black room, or outside. For distance viewing in true darkness, I do recommend a tighter IR beam as the attached IR seems more of a low-projection flood. Great for rooms, not for looking deeper into the woods.
On service: Unit shipped initially missing the helmet mount, but ATN customer service was awesome and shipped a replacement out ASAP.
Overall, highly impressed as a novice to NVGs. These let you see in the dark, and the night sky becomes thousands of stars...

The ATN PS31-3W night vision goggles are nothing but quality. They are well built, sturdy and the clarity of the lenses are top notch. Theses are above and beyond the PVS-14s that I used in the military. I am glad I went with the white phosphorus tube, well worth the extra money.
