Atn thor 4 (640x480) 4-40x - ATN ThOR 4 4-40x75mm Thermal Smart HD Rifle Scope 30mm Tube

Purchased an ATN Thor 4 (640x480) 2.5-25 initially. Thermal image was full of streaks and circular halos making only 50% of picture visible. After many attempts to contact ATN and them not responding to emails, phone calls or VM's, I returned the product to Optics Planet (they were great to work with). I then purchased an ATN THor 4 (640x480) 4-40x thinking my 2.5-25 was defective. It turns out the next model had the same issues with it. Finally ATN answered my phone call and I learned that the firmware for this product is plagued with issues(the reason why the image quality is so bad). The ATN rep told me they are working on it but couldn't tell me if it would take 1 week or 2 months to fix it. Now I am sitting with a $4,700 scope that has no use at this point other than a paperweight. They have been advertising this thing for close to a year before they launched it commercially and it is not even close to being a consistent, reputable product. What makes me even more angry is the lack of concern that ATN has in responding to phone calls, emails, vm's etc. It could be a good product if they figure out the firmware issues but the customer service needs even more improvement. Just a few of my thoughts.
