Honest truth - ATN Thor 5 XD LRF 2-20x 1280x1024 12 Micron Smart HD Thermal Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube w/ Xtreme Definition 1.3 Megapixel Sensor

I’ve had this 1280LRF thermal for 5 months and it’s needed to be sent in for warranty repair 2X upon Recieving it both times. Within a week of purchase and a day upon receiving the factory restored warranty fix. First SD card not reading and then microphone not working. As far as user input in the field I enjoy this thermal. ATN has a little of everything at a good price. I will tell you that I tested this at a range a week ago and the shot placement will change if you shoot while zoomed in. You heard that correct. The reticle does not stay zeroed when you are zoomed in. I have the 2-8X version. Pretty disappointed. I do however think I can see better than my buddy with pulsar 640 scope. I see things slightly before him. But.. it’s 1280 vs 640 so if it was apples to apples you would expect that. His zero did not get affected while zoomed in with his pulsar. I’m conflicted. At the price I paid… even with its faults it’s hard not to get 1280 ATN. But…. If you have the money I’d definitely find the next thermal up.
