First thermal. very happy - ATN ThOR-HD 4.5-18x50mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

This thing is amazing. I was looking around for about a month at all the different thermal scopes in my budget, and this was by far the best deal. The reasons I chose this model over other ATNs and other manufacturers was; 1) best magnification in my price range 2) 50mm objective lense 3) built in range finder 4) recoil activated video 5) most important to me was it can run on normal AA batteries, it works best with Kentlis. I did not want an internal battery that could not be swapped out. Just my personal opinion. As to battery life obviously cold weather, wifi, Bluetooth turned on will blow through some regular double AAs in a couple hours. The Kentlis took care of that. The battery pack combo from OP was a nice add-on, no more worrying about running out. As for image quality; amazing. It's nice to be able to scan the woods behind my house and see everything. I am now the envy of all my hunting buddies, this opens a whole new world for hunting.
