$2200 scope that won't work out of the box! - ATN ThOR-HD 4.5-18x50mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

It's a dang shame that a company like ATN can sell a $3000 sticker price scope and it not be tested from the factory for reliability and functionality. Turned it on and the ATN splash screen would not go away. The factory default reset didn't work either. ATN said the only way to repair it was send it in to them for repair and maybe a month lead time on repairs. Simply unacceptable. Bought it a week before my Texas hunt so nevertheless I had to go without it. Really disappointed in their lack of Quality inspection. I have friends with these and they had similar experiences. They are good products when you can get them working so plan in advance for these situations.
