I really spent a lot of time looking into the Pulsar, AGM, and ATN units and landed on the ATN Thor LTV...and I am so happy I did. The 640 resolution is a game changer, detailed at 4x magnification and do not lose much at 12x. When you scan across a field the picture is smooth and crisp. Was happy with the distance at which you can identify. Unit has been flawless right out of the box.
Pros:
  • ease of use, image quality
Cons:
  • The USB and SD slot covers could be better, especially when going to an external battery
Best Used for:
  • night hunting
