I bought it mainly for the video recording, and it hasn't dissapointed. Being able to record my hunts, especially when I bag a coyote, is so cool. I can easily show my buddies what happened out in the field. As a hunter, I use this mostly for coyote hunting at night, and it's perfect for documenting those successful hunts. The video recording is super easy to use and even easier to share.

It's got this advanced thermal sensor, and you can pick from different resolutions, so you get a clear picture even when it's pitch black. The 60 Hz refresh rate means the image is smooth, no lag, which is huge when you're tracking a moving target. You can also change the magnification, depending on how far out your target is. It also has a really good battery life - I can get a solid 9+ hours out of it, which is plenty for a long night hunt. Plus, it's built tough and can handle some rough conditions.
