Tom's Review of ATN X-Sight 4K Pro Edition 5-20x70mm Smart HD 30mm Tube Day/Night Rifle Scope
I bought the scope because it was a good price for a day/night scope and for the ballistic calculator. I hunt groundhogs at ranges from 50yds to 400yds on rolling hills and having a built in calculator makes it much easier. I am still waiting for the ABL 1500 rangefinder, so I don't know how well the two will interface.
One minor inconvience is orienting the compass on 3 axis' each time the scope is turned on and if not done carefully, the direction will be off. I have had the scope lock up a couple of times while changing settings, but a hard reboot corrects that.
I bought an extra 10' USB cable so I could charge the scope inside my safe.
I tried to set the one shot zero with the scope at max zoom and it was off several inches. I should have tried it at min zoom first. I was able to zero again on the 2nd shot.
I set up 2 profiles and then downloaded the profile.xml from the SD card. I opened the file in a text editor and added several more profiles (max 5). I saved it to the SD card and the scope would load any of the profiles from the file. Drag Function is a number 1-5?, Ballistic coefficient is in decimal, bullet weight is in grains, Initial velocity is in meters/s, Recticle offset X & Y can be set for zeroing, Profile name is whatever you want.
The scope will not connect to my Nexus 6P phone using the Obsidian 4 app, but it will connect to my wife's samsung tablet. Only the settings function is currently available with a few additional settings not accesible from the scope itself. No video streaming or gallery searches, although they can be downloaded from the SD card.
Overall I'm pleased with the scope and would recommend it to someone else
