Two key flaws - ATN X-Sight Night Vision Rifle Scope 5-18x DGWSXS518A

I had two flaws with this scope that I couldn't overcome in their current configuration that was a deal breaker. All of the features were great so I gave them two stars for implementing GPS, Wireless, Compass, etc. but where they are really a let down is the lack of battery life even with wireless off (60 minutes). That would require 2-3 battery changes per hunt and that isn't going to fly. All it would take is for them to change the battery cap cover with a plug in jack that hooked an external supply up to get the full 4 hours of run time out of the scope on one charge.
The other more insurmountable problem is that the zero reticle was way off on my scope that lead me to have to move the reticle to the left bottom of the display. And since the display cant be recentered, that is where it stays. I am not going to live with a scope whose reticle is on the bottom left of the screen. Then when you zoom the reticle can go off screen making zoom useless. All in all a great concept but implementation was not good. It should never have gotten out of QC with those problems.
